From the Hearth
Every so often, Mama Tallow comes through on the Hearth Line — the fire's own news, and sometimes the wide world's news too, told the way only she tells it. Since October 2026 she has a new way in: this screen, which she allows is a more powerful catcher than any hearth stone. Listen here; new visits are announced in the newsletter first.

The Hearth Line, through a screen
Mama Tallow herself, on the new contraption — home news first, then the world's, told her way. She says the screen is a more powerful catcher than any hearth stone she ever spoke through. Clear as well-water.
First heard October 16, 2026 · about three minutes.
Mama Tallow appears in the Wiken books and keeps the Hearth Line in Wiken: Revival. The voice is hers; the render is ours.
